Thanksgiving getaway to Las Vegas.

Last weekend in San Francisco there was a huge tech conference, Oracle OpenWorld. They were expecting 300,000 visitors. I feel kind of a geek, I really enjoyed that. Those Americans like doing big things!
Look at the photos! We ended up in the private party in the 32nd floor of the Westin San Francis overlooking union square.

The peaceful march against the LRDP at UCSC was really great before the police spoilt it. I ran out of battery and I feared about my visa status!

Wow, Halloween downtown Santa Cruz, amazing!

They you don’t have Carnival but here is Halloween. Check the photos! Day time carnival until late night, including family pumpkin carving.
There are also the photos of the following day, when we woke for the surfing class and the damn instructors didn’t show up (without warning). But I could swim some laps and review for the AMS 5 midterm. And after the midterm a walk around UCSC’s arboretum to ease of mind.
